The Second Steering Committee Meeting of EUROL 3 took place on 28 February 2023 in Hotel Ramada (Podgorica). It gathered representatives of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, the Agency for Economic Development and Cooperation (aed), representatives of the Austrian Ministry of Justice, the Austrian Ministry of Interior, the Italian Ministry of Interior, as well as representatives of Montenegrin beneficiary institutions (the Ministry of Justice, the Judicial Council, the Supreme Court, the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, the Centre for Training in Judiciary and State Prosecution, the Ministry of Interior, the Police Administration and the Ministry of European Integration).
The event was opened by the EU Delegation Programme Officer for Justice and Home Affairs, and Montenegrin Heads of the Chapters 23 and 24 negotiation groups.
Introductory statements were delivered by the Chairman of aed, the representative of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice, the representative of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Interior and the representative of the Italian Ministry of Interior.
The Team Leader of EUROL 3 and the Head of the Justice Component of EUROL 3 presented the Interim Narrative Report to the participants.
Following the presentation, the Interim Report was discussed and approved and adopted by all members of the EUROL 3 Steering Committee.
