From 31 October to 1 November 2023, EUROL 3 delivered a two-day training on Project Management Cycle for staff of the Secretariat of the Judicial Training Centre (JTC). The training was organized for a group of 10 participants, all employees of the Secretariat of the JTC and working in different positions in the Secretariat.
The main aim of this training was to enhance the knowledge and the necessary skills of the JTC Secretariat, in order to enable it to independently prepare projects and organize its own activities, and thus not be (solely) dependent on other projects, donors and organizations and their objectives.
The participants were informed about the topics of planning, preparation and implementation of projects, but also of researching for funding opportunities, fund raising and application for international calls for project proposals within the scope of the work of the JTC.
The following topics have been presented to and discussed with the participants through theoretically and practically: potential sources of funding; principles, procedures and documents for grant applications; theory of change and intervention logic; project cycle management and logical framework approach; context and stakeholder analysis; problem, objective and strategy analysis; intervention logic diagram and logical framework matrix; indicators; activity and resource scheduling; budgeting; concept note and full application; implementation and public procurement; monitoring and reporting.
The training was organized by EUROL 3 in supporting the Judicial training Centre and as a product of the very successful and fruitful cooperation.
