On 8 and 9 April 2024, a two-day visit of two representatives of the EPPO was organized by EUROL 3 together with the Supreme State Prosecutor’s Office.
The first day of the visit was organized in the form of a workshop for state prosecutors. The aim was to inform them about the organization and functioning of the EPPO. In this context a general presentation of the EPPO was given, and the analytical tools and European databases accessible by EPPO were presented, as well as the cooperation of EPPO with third countries. The workshop gave Montenegrin state prosecutors the opportunity to discuss various topics with EPPO prosecutors, including the work on concrete cases, the exchange of information, and the possibilities for direct cooperation.
During the second day of the visit a meeting of the EPPO prosecutors with the Supreme State Prosecutor of Montenegro and the Chief Special Prosecutor took place.
